Location: San Francisco or Stockholm

We are looking for a recognized video expert to join our voice and video research team to help us develop new products in the video area. Working at GIPS you will see your ideas become real products quickly.

To qualify for this position you have to be a very innovative person with significant experience in this area of research and development. You will help lead our video- coding and processing efforts which are focused on development of new video products for real-time communications over packet networks . 

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will typically have a post graduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. More specifically, we are looking for a person that fulfills the following list of requirements:

• MS or PhD degree
• Strong expertise in Video Coding
• Familiar with video standards such as H.263 and H.264  
• Strong English language verbal and written communication skills required
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meeting time limits are required
• Must be a team player

Desired Skills:

• C and C++ programming skills
• Previous VoIP experience
