Announces Demo of Real-Time HD-Video for the Desktop
Boston, FALL VON — October 30, 2007 — Global

real-time, high-definition (HD) video is now possible on a software platform
for desktop users. This capacity will be
demonstrated at FALL VON, booth 808.
This will be the first-time a software platform has
allowed users to experience real-time, two-way video over a standard broadband
connection. Previously only available
via standalone hardware and dedicated desktop solutions GIPS applied its
industry-leading real-time communications expertise to manage network effects
and hardware limitations.
